About Us
T he Niger-Delta people are peculiar and so are the numerous challenges poised before them. The Discovery of oil in the last century changed the dynamics; attracting foreign companies to the region. The aftermath of the activities of these companies have put the lives of the local people on the edge. Hence the backlash called “Niger-Delta Crises”.

Conflict is familiar to the human family. What is unfamiliar is the unwillingness to attain a workable resolution to such conflict. With this in mind, the Niger-Delta Oil and Gas Technical Skills Acquisition Schemes, Williams Smith Training Centre, the first privately owned skills acquisition centre noted for training, workshops, seminars in numerous fields, bearing in mind that the Niger-Delta is sitting on a box of dynamite and eager to be partner in the diffusion of that dynamite, is training indigenous youth from all nooks and corner of Niger-Delta in relation to their choice vocation.
Based upon the conviction, that the government’s policy of human capital development is at the core of every genuine effort to relieve the region of restiveness, we intend to be a major players advancing that policy.
